Aureon Labs ("Aureon", "we", "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, disclose, and protect personal information about visitors and customers of aureonlabs.com (the "Site"). By using the Site, you agree to the practices described below.

1. Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of personal information:

  • Contact data: name, email address, shipping and billing address, phone number.
  • Order and payment data: items purchased, order history, billing details. Payment card information is processed directly by our payment processors and is not stored on our servers.
  • Account data: login credentials and membership account details for the Aureon Recovery Club.
  • Usage data: IP address, browser type, device identifiers, pages viewed, referral sources, interactions with our emails and ads.
  • Communications: messages you send to customer support and responses to surveys.

We do not knowingly collect Sensitive Personal Information as defined under the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), including Social Security numbers, driver's license numbers, financial account credentials, precise geolocation, health or genetic data, or biometric identifiers.

3. How We Use Your Information

  • Process orders, payments, refunds, and shipping;
  • Create and manage your account and membership;
  • Provide customer support and respond to inquiries;
  • Send transactional messages (order confirmations, shipping updates, billing notices);
  • Send marketing communications (where permitted by law and with the option to opt out);
  • Prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents;
  • Improve the Site, products, and customer experience;
  • Comply with legal obligations.

4. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell personal information for monetary consideration. We share information with:

  • Service providers that help operate our business (payment processors, shipping carriers, email providers, CRM, analytics, and hosting — including Shopify, which hosts this Site);
  • Advertising partners (e.g., Meta, Google) that use cookies and pixels to measure ad performance and show you relevant ads. Under California law, this sharing may be considered a "sale" or "share." You may opt out as described in Section 6;
  • Legal and safety authorities where required by law, court order, or to protect rights and safety;
  • Business transfers in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.

5. Cookies and Tracking

We use cookies, pixels, and similar technologies for:

  • Essential: cart, checkout, login;
  • Analytics: understanding how the Site is used (e.g., Google Analytics, Shopify Analytics);
  • Advertising: showing relevant ads and measuring campaigns (e.g., Meta Pixel, Google Ads, TikTok Pixel).

You may control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling non-essential cookies will not affect core shopping functions.

6. Your Privacy Rights

California Residents (CCPA / CPRA)

You have the right to:

  • Know what personal information we collect, use, and share;
  • Delete personal information we hold about you, subject to legal exceptions;
  • Correct inaccurate personal information;
  • Opt Out of the sale or sharing of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising;
  • Limit the use of any Sensitive Personal Information (we do not knowingly process SPI);
  • Non-discrimination — we will not deny services or change prices because you exercised your rights.

To exercise your rights, email hello@aureonlabs.com with the subject line "Privacy Request — California" and include enough information for us to verify your identity. We will respond within 45 days.

Global Privacy Control (GPC)

Aureon Labs honors the Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signal as a valid opt-out request for the sale or sharing of personal information under California law. When we detect a GPC signal, we treat it as an opt-out for that browser session.

Texas Residents (TDPSA)

Under the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act, Texas residents may:

  • Access personal data we process about them;
  • Correct inaccuracies;
  • Delete personal data;
  • Obtain a portable copy of personal data;
  • Opt out of targeted advertising, sale of personal data, or profiling with legal or significant effects.

Appeal process: if we decline your request, you may appeal by replying to our decision email within 60 days. We will respond to appeals within 60 days. If the appeal is denied, you may contact the Texas Attorney General.

Other US Residents

If your state provides similar rights (e.g., Colorado, Virginia, Connecticut, Utah), contact us at the address in Section 6 and we will honor applicable requests.

7. Financial Incentive Notice — Aureon Recovery Club

Under California law, our Aureon Recovery Club membership program may be considered a "financial incentive." By enrolling, members receive benefits including monthly account credits, exclusive collection access, shipping benefits, and digital content. In exchange, we process account and transactional information to operate and personalize the program. Members may cancel at any time without penalty; see the Membership Agreement for full terms. We have determined in good faith that the value of the program reasonably relates to the value of the information processed, taking into account the costs of providing the benefits and administering the program.

8. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as necessary to provide our services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Account and transaction records are generally retained for up to 7 years for tax and audit purposes.

9. Security

We use commercially reasonable safeguards to protect personal information. However, no system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Children's Privacy

The Site is not directed to children under 13 (or under 16 in certain jurisdictions). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we learn we have collected information from a child, we will delete it.

11. International Visitors

Aureon Labs operates and stores data in the United States. If you access the Site from outside the US, your information will be transferred to, stored, and processed in the US, where privacy laws may differ from your jurisdiction.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Effective Date" above will reflect the latest revision. Continued use of the Site after changes constitutes acceptance.
